A photo story for the Pizza 4P's new restaurant has just opened in Indochina Riverside Towers, Da Nang city, Vietnam. Pizza 4P’s is the most popular restaurant chain in Vietnam in terms of customer satisfaction and now it currently has 15 locations across Vietnam.
With the “Place Fermentation” concept, Pizza 4P’s Indochina Da Nang is the 2nd Pizza 4P’s restaurant in Vietnam’s largest tourist city. The newest restaurant hopes to welcome all guests with pizza, food, drinks as well as the Omotenashi spirit – all the elements that blend together and then ferment to bring up unique dining experience.
The indigo-dyed curtains and walls can be easily recognized as the signature interior of Pizza 4P’s Indochina. Indigo dye is a hundred-year-old technique – which has been used widely by both Japanese and the ethnic minorities in the North of Viet Nam. With the collaboration between Vietnamese and Japanese craftsmen, the owner wants to deliver new surprises and discoveries while cherishing the long-standing heritages. So, this is the reason why they booked me to make a photo story for Pizza 4P’s special process.
It’s interesting to know that indigo-dyed materials are widely used in both Vietnam and Japan for centuries. At Pizza 4P’s Indochina Da Nang, the restaurant featured a unique indigo wall made with a technique that combines both Vietnamese and Japanese elements.
Integrate this indigo wall to the architecture design, the restaurant would like to pay tribute to the traditional craftsmanship.
