Photography-Videography request: The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) is an international non-governmental organization that strives to empower people to transform their communities in the face of climate change. ISC’s mission is to support communities, cities, and industries worldwide in addressing environmental, economic, and social challenges to build a better future shaped and shared by all.
The lower Mekong region has become a crucial hub for sustainable manufacturing in recent years. With a focus on Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, the Mekong Sustainability Manufacturing Alliance (The Alliance) program has been instrumental in driving private-sector adoption of improved environmental and social safeguards in factories across multiple sectors.
In December 2022, ISC’s office in Thailand contacted me for collaboration on a project that involved capturing photography and Videography of project activities at LONGWELL, one of the newest factories in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. The project’s objective was to document a VCCI short training course (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry) and other activities being carried out by the Mekong Sustainability Manufacturing Alliance at the factory.
As part of the project, I was responsible for capturing high-quality photos and videos showcasing the Alliance’s objectives and their impact on the local community. I ensured that the images and videos were interactive, engaging, and representative of the project’s goals, per the guidelines. I captured the footage over three shooting days and ensured that the final product was in various formats and sizes suitable for digital and print use.
In addition to capturing high-quality photos and videos, I created English subtitles for the short videos produced as part of the project. This helped to ensure that the project was accessible to a broader audience and could be used to spread awareness about the Alliance’s work in the region.
Throughout the project, I was committed to capturing compelling and engaging visual content that would help to highlight the vital work being done by the Mekong Sustainability Manufacturing Alliance. Using my photography and videographer skills, I worked closely with ISC to ensure that the final product met their requirements and accurately reflected the project’s objectives.
